SADACCA International Community Cultural Day

Venue: Sheffield and District African Caribbean Community Association (SADACCA. Wicker.

International migration and globalisation has resulted in a rich cultural diverse community throughout the world. Sheffield the fourth largest city in the UK embraces this. Appreciation of this cultural diversity gained through the mixture of rich heritage and practices as seen today may disappear if not continuously shared.

This event hosted by SADACCA with the support of its partners from local community organisations and agencies, seeks to promote

  • Cultural diversity

  • Positive interaction between communities.

  • Community harmony.

  • Assist in the integration of new arrivals to the cities.

This event is aims to foster a greater respect and shared understanding between communities with the view to assist in to make Sheffield a more harmonious city. It will, as in past years deliver an interactive programme which will enable attendees to view and sample the traditions of participating communities
