Job: Early Years Practitioner (Term time only post)

  • 27 hours per week (Subject to funds hrs. could be extended)

  • Salary £9406

Watoto Pre-School is looking for a resourceful, efficient, creative and approachable person to take on the role of Early Years Practitioner. This post will work as part of the Under 2s team to ensure that Watoto Pre-School meets its aims & objectives

The successful candidate will have experience of working within a under 5s provision. You must have a very strong background in the early year’s foundation stage framework and are able to demonstrate initiative in implementing continuous improvement to service delivery.

Watoto is a popular pre-school located in an inner city area of Sheffield. We provide high quality childcare and early education to a rich multi-cultural community.

The appointed person is required to work within a multi-disciplinary staff team working in partnership with children, parents and professionals.

This post offers an excellent opportunity for someone with relevant knowledge, expertise and qualifications to provide a key role in the provision of services for our children and their families.

Candidates must have (or working toward) BA Honours Degree in Childhood Studies or the Early Years Foundation Stage, NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children’s Care Learning and Development with successful post qualifying experience
