Activity Sheffield is seeking to appoint a number of casual staff to deliver various inclusive activities including physical activity, play, cultural, fitness, dance, and sport sessions to a variety of individuals including older people, adults, and children and young people as and when required. The role includes the delivery and development of various activities such as holiday activity camps, dance, arts and crafts, multi sport sessions, Street Sports sessions, through to boccia, chair based exercise sessions to trampolining, cheerleading, street dance etc. Delivery takes place throughout the day, evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Sessions will take place across Sheffield at various venues including parks, schools, sports centres, community facilities, community centres, at large citywide events and other local venues. We are looking for pro active individuals that hold recognised qualifications i.e. Chair Based Exercise, Aerobics, Dance, NGB level 2 or equivalent from the play, sport, fitness, cultural and environmental industries The successful candidate will have the ability to ensure sessions, programmes and projects meet the needs of the customer while building and maintaining successful relationships with customers and communities, business and voluntary organisations.

The role is to deliver front line services and often being the ‘face’ of Activity Sheffield, whilst delivering a high quality of customer service at all times. Please note, as part of the recruitment process all successful candidates will be required to attend a full days, unpaid, induction briefing with the opportunity to shadow an existing session/member of the Activity Sheffield Team.

The successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced Criminal Records Disclosure Form in line with Section 115 of The Police Act 1997.
