Rushby St tree ceremony

Half And Half Tree
Half And Half Tree

The final tree-planting session of the 2008-09 season will take place on Thursday 19th March at Rushby Street, Fir Vale.

A team from Wates, the building contractors, will be starting work at 10.30am and be joined by pupils from Fir Vale School at 11.30am. The whole team will have a group photograph with their work at 12pm.

Everyone is welcome to turn up – at any point of the morning, whether to help with the planting or just to provide moral support for the people involved.

The plans for the choice of trees were described in the February 2009 edition of the Messenger.
