Job: Debt Development Worker

NOMAD Homeless Advice and Support Unit provides a range of services for homeless and vulnerable people in Sheffield.

We wish to recruit a Debt Development Worker to work within our Housing and Support project.

  • Salary £18,296 pro rata

  • 14 hours per week

  • Temporary for 6 months

To actively research and develop a self-help booklet on debt aimed at promoting healthier lifestyles for whole communities, and deliver related workshops to service user groups. The successful candidate will have the ability to research and collate current information, an understanding of the causes and effects of debt and the ability to work with service users with a variety of needs.

This post attracts 38 days holiday pro rata including bank holidays, and 6% of salary employers pension contribution. All posts are subject to an enhanced CRB Disclosure check.

Closing date is 6th March 2009 at 12 noon.
