NOMAD Homeless Advice and Support Unit provides a range of services for homeless and vulnerable people in Sheffield.
We wish to recruit an Assistant Development Officer to work within our Housing and Support project.
Salary £20,568
35 hours per week
Temporary until 31st May 2009
To provide advice and support to private landlords and tenants of SmartMove (Bond Guarantee Scheme), and assist with research into developing NOMAD’s housing support and advice services. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills at all levels, knowledge of housing legislation and procedures and the ability to mediate between landlord and tenant. Driving licence required. Access to a vehicle preferable, but not essential.
This post attracts 38 days holiday pro rata including bank holidays, and 6% of salary employers pension contribution. The post is subject to an enhanced CRB Disclosure check.
