Vestry Hall Lifelong Learning Co-ordinator

Burngreave New Deal for Communities is a 10 year Government funded regeneration programme established to tackle the issues of deprivation in the Burngreave area. To give us the facilities to help us raise skills and improve opportunities for learning within the area we have restored the Vestry Hall a Grade 2 listed building in the heart of the area. We now need to develop a learning programme that meets the needs of the Burngreave community.

Vestry Hall Lifelong Learning Co-ordinator

  • Salary £23,543 to £25,225

To be considered for this post you will need to be a dynamic and energetic person, passionate about community learning with the following skills:

  • Experience of negotiating with a variety of statutory and voluntary sector providers to develop a learning programme.

  • Experience of, adult education and training for work programmes

  • A demonstrable track record of fund-raising and knowledge/understanding of funding opportunities for learning and training

  • Experience of, and a commitment to, project management in a multi-cultural community regeneration setting
