A Healthier Burngreave: Supporting people to improve their health
Sheffield Primary Care Trust is recruiting a Community Development & Health Worker on a 6 month fixed term basis to support the a health team being established in the Burngreave area of Sheffield.
Based in a shop front in the middle of this vibrant and diverse community you will work with other projects and health services to help local people:
Better manage health problems
Improve access to health and health promotion
Develop skills on health issues
Ensure a healthy start to life with healthy eating
Reduce smoking and increase physical activity
The work will make best use of Burngreave’s greatest assets, its people, services and local resources to tackle inequalities in health.
