Burngreave Post Offices safe from closure

The three main Post Offices in Burngreave and Fir Vale, are to remain open following the announcement of closures across South Yorkshire on 5th August.

Only Grimesthorpe Post Office, on Upwell Street, has been listed as a proposed closure. Leaving Ellesmere, Pitsmoor and Fir Vale on the safe list as Post Offices to remain in the network.

Consultation on the sixteen Sheffield Post Offices proposed for closure will take place over the next six weeks. Residents can send comments to: Adrian Wales, Network Development Manager, C/o National Consultation Team, FREEPOST CONSULTATION TEAM

Crookes Valley Road; Shalesmoor; The Moor; Western Road; Grimesthorpe; Hatfield House Lane; High Wincobank; Southey; Wadsley Bridge; Deepcar; Loxley; Oakbrook Road; Parkhead; Silverhill; Derbyshire Lane; Park Grange.
