Electric Carousel presents the Café Bizarre

Jamboree are colaborating with Ben and Bob Worm to bring you a great final summer event. The Café Bizarre is a wonderful mix of live bands, superb circus performances, spoken word, the best dj's and other unusual acts. The whole event will be held in Endcliffe Park, Saturday 29th Sept 2007, 12 noon.

Shooting on Carlisle Street

A teenager was shot in the right arm late on Thursday 20th September in the Pitsmoor area of Sheffield, in what is being described as a drive-by incident.

6 Family Advocacy Workers wanted

Jobs: The Children and Young People's Directorate are looking for six Family Advocacy Workers to support Burngreave children and their families to ensure better attainment in school:

  • £18,450 – £22,293

  • 37 hours per week

  • Closing Date: 27 the September 2007

Support Arts Gardening Education

Jobs: SAGE runs a Horticultural Therapy Project for adults with mental health problems called SAGE Greenfingers, and are looking for a:

  • Director: £27,500 pro rata, 18½ hours per week.

  • Book-keeper/Administrator: £16, 892 pro rata, 11 hours per week.

Closing date: 5pm Monday 1st October 2007.
