Trainee Administration Assistant wanted

Apprenticeships for All is recruiting for a full time Trainee Administration Assistant.

Responsibilities will include carrying out general administrative duties such as setting up and managing filing systems, using a multifunctional photocopier, word processing, updating spreadsheets and databases, answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries, receiving visitors, dealing with incoming and outgoing mail, keeping accurate records, taking minutes of meetings, maintaining a diary system and any other duties that are deemed appropriate to the role.

You should have excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure and prioritise your workload and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage, however full training will be given to the right candidate.

The post holder will be expected to undertake appropriate training and staff development in accordance with a planned programme of development.

  • This post is a temporary, fixed term contract for 12 months.

  • Salary: National Minimum Wage.
