International Indian Film Academy Awards

Over 500 million eyes will be on Yorkshire in June 2007 when the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFAs) take the region by storm. An estimated 30,000 extra overseas visitors to Yorkshire are expected to join in the glitz and glamour during the spectacular event. They will be treated to a mesmerising four day extravaganza running from the 7th to the 10th June 2007. The event will be jointly hosted by the five world-class cities of Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield, York and Hull for a celebration that has never been seen before.

The celebrations will start on 7th June when the biggest names in Indian cinema watch the world premiere of the year's biggest Bollywood epic. The grand finale will take place on 9th June at the Hallam FM Arena in Sheffield and will see glamorous Indian celebrities and the biggest names in Bollywood cinema gather on the famous red carpet at an Oscar-style awards ceremony – beamed to a global audience of more than 500 million people in 110 countries.

The event will feature shopping festivals, food festivals, cinema exhibitions and showcases, workshops, sporting events, fashion extravaganzas, contests and much more.

Tickets for the IIFA Awards 2007 are available from the Hallam FM Arena. Tickets for the grand finale on Saturday 9th June are priced at £150, £100, £75 & £50 and may be subject to a booking fee.
