Pitsmoor Adventure Playground is a busy and energetic play facility set within the heart of the Pitsmoor/Burngreave area.

Working under the direction of the Play Development Officer – you will organise, facilitate and deliver a varied programme of play, arts & crafts and sports & physical activities for a wide range of ages, abilities and cultural backgrounds – within a welcoming and safe environment.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Playwork (or be willing to work towards an NVQ Level 2) and have appropriate experience working in a play or recreation environment.

The playground is open 5 days every week, throughout the year (currently Monday/Tuesday/ Thursday/Friday/Saturday – though this may change to Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/ Friday/Staurday in the near future) – Working hours will be agreed within the face to face delivery times of: Term time 3.00pm to 8.00pm (except Saturdays 10.00am to 6.00pm) and school holidays 10.00am to 6.00pm everyday – and staff are also contracted to an annual summer camp.
