Green City Action

It’s cheaper in green

Did you know that you could save cash by switching your supplier?

I just did and I reduced my bills by 20%, better still the energy I now use is ‘green’ or ‘renewable’ energy. Every time somebody switches to green energy it means we:

  • Breathe less pollution

  • Help stop global warming

  • Save money

So you can help make Burngreave cleaner and greener and save cash.

Interested?

Don’t get conned by doorstep or telesales people who are just after your money, instead visit http://www.uswitch.com/Energy/ and select green energy from the light blue menu box. Or you can write to uSwitch.com, PO Box 33208, London SW1E 5WL.

Toy Library to reopen

GCA is set to reopen its toy library from 11am–1pm on 24th April – more details next month. We have a very wide range of toys available suitable for all ages for ‘free’ loan to members. We still need volunteers to help with this so if you have a couple of hours every week or so then please get in touch.

Contact Green City Action for information about the Toy Library or further planet saving tips and ideas. Joining is free, phone 244 0353 or email enquiries@greencityaction.co.uk.
