Deliver it green…

New Deal have approved funding to expand the Deliver It Green project, which started with Objective 1 funding, to overhaul community green spaces. It will build on the foundations laid down by the Burngreave Green Environment Programme.

Improvements will begin with work on Firshill Close, Denholme Street and Pitsmoor Road Open Spaces, Nottingham Cliffe and Burngreave Bank.

Banking on Burngreave

Residents of Burngreave Bank, the Council’s Parks and Countryside and the Deliver It Green team planted three new mountain ash (rowan) trees at the top of Burngreave Bank.

Made to Measure

Green City Action can provide window boxes up to one metre wide, made to measure, complete with compost, fertilizer and full of plants for up to £25.
