Under 8s remain unbeaten

Saints Under 8s have won all their matches this season, and with the last match to play in mid-March, its looking good for them to be the top under 8s team in Sheffield.

Supporting parent, Stephen Colgraeve, reports from the latest match (each fixture is played as two games of five-a-side).

Burngreave Saints vs Charnock Ridgeway

The first game started with Charnock playing well and taking a 1–0 lead. However a great performance by Danny Ramsey, who hit the post and brought several good saves from the Charnock goalkeeper, brought us back into the game and an equalizer by Lyndon Edwards and two goals by George Scott gave us a 3–1 win.

In the second game good work in midfield kept Charnock more in their own half and four goals by Callum Wood, three from Marcus Edwards and one by Aaron Thorpe gave Burngreave an 11–1 win on aggregate.
