Economic Strategy

Story: The New Deal executive team

Thanks to the involvement of people who attend the Employment and Enterprise Theme Group Meetings, a Local Economic Development Strategy is expected to be ready in September. The strategy, suggested by the community through the theme meetings, will tackle the issue of unemployment in Burngreave.

It will provide a definite purpose with targets that need to be reached ensuring visible actions such as training people into jobs and attracting other major agencies to get involved. It will act as a framework for project development, management and engagement of key stakeholders.
