Beautiful Burngreave showcases talent

Story: the New Deal executive team

Burngreave is being given the chance to shine after funding was secured for ‘The Festivals Project’, which will deliver four major community events in the area.

Burngreave New Deal for Communities (BNDfC) and the Burngreave Area Panel are providing £30,000 to Green City Action to deliver the four events – the first and largest being the fantastic Abbeyfield Multicultural Festival that took place earlier in July. This is to be followed by an autumn event on the Wensley Estate on 8 September, a winter ‘Festival of Lights’ in mid-November and a theatre performance in Spring next year in another green space within Burngreave.
