Parkwood Springs / Land fill Site plans

The planning application for how Viridor propose to restore the Landfill is currently with the City Council. It can be seen online at

http://publicaccess.sheffield.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do ?activeTab=summary& keyVal=NEGYSJNY0JJ00

or a hard copy can be borrowed for a short time. Please get in touch with Neill Schofield (see below)if you would like to borrow it. (It is a massive ring-binder.)

The Friends Group is having a special meeting to talk about the plans and agree a response.

Thursday 15th January at St Catherine's School, Firshill Crescent, S4 7BX.

The plans will be on display from 6.30, and then the meeting will start at 7pm.

Everybody is welcome, please do make every effort to attend. These plans are so important for the future of our ‘country park in the city’.

If you have questions or comments before the meeting, do get in touch. The committee have discussed the plans at length, and we hope to send a first draft of our response round before the meeting, for people to consider.
