Kevin Hartney died Saturday 29-August 2015 around 19:45 as the full moon rose and the sun set, after a brief but intense battle with cancer. He was admitted to the Northern General Hospital Macmillan Unit for Palliative Care on the morning of Thursday 27-August 2015. Friends stayed at his side for the duration of his stay in hospital. Eventually he slept. Around 19:45 he opened his eyes and took a final deep breath and exhaled for the last time. Information on burial details to follow.
