Makaton Course

Starts on Tuesday 16th September

From 12 30pm to 2 30pm

At Burngreave Children Centre

19 Spital Street, Sheffield, S3 9LB

This course is for 10 weeks and an admin fee £10 will be required. If you receive benefits then you may not to need to pay full fee of £50. Please bring in ID photo evidence and proof of benefits on the first session of the course. Crèche is available. Crèche bookings need to be booked before the course starts

Background Information:

Makaton is a Sign language course using signs and symbols to help people with learning difficulties communicate effectively. The Makaton Language Programme uses a structured approach involving a combination of speech, signs and graphic symbols. This course will enable you to learn ways of working with children who have this condition or if you looking to work as a career of working with children then this course will help you understand on a basic level.
