Job: Emotional Wellbeing Workers

Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust is temporarily expanding its work in the areas of North Sheffield where the communities outlined below live, and is recruiting Emotional Wellbeing Workers to work in the following groups:

Emotional Wellbeing Workers

Roma Slovak (2 posts – 18.75 hours each) – one male and one female Post Ref: 457-13-006-CR

Arabic speaking female (18.75 hours) Post Ref: 457-13-007-CR

Pakistani male (30 hours) Post Ref: 457-13-008-CR

Funding for these posts is available until 31st March 2014

Salary: £21,176 – £27,625 per annum pro rata

Location at North Spaces, 259 Pitsmoor Road, Sheffield S3

Sheffield Health & Social Care NHS Foundation Trust is committed to working with all of Sheffield’s communities to address mental health inequalities. As part of this commitment these post holders will work with people from the above communities in the North of Sheffield on a 1:1 and group work basis in a confidential, flexible and responsive way.

We are interested in hearing from people from these communities who have experience of working with vulnerable people in the community and are fluent in the appropriate language as well as English.

Community Seminars will be held with the intention to provide the information that will be useful when applying for these posts & all potential applicants are strongly advised to attend these sessions.

Roma Slovak posts: Joint seminars Wednesday 13th March 2013 6-7pm @ the Pakistan Community Advice Centre, Owler Lane, Sheffield S4 8GA

Arabic Speaking Women’s post: Monday 11th March 2013 6-7pm @ the Firvale Centre, Earl Marshall Road, Sheffield S4 8LA

Pakistani Men’s post: Tuesday 12th March 2013 5:30-6:30 pm @ the Pakistan Community Advice Centre, Owler Lane, Sheffield S4 8GA
