Job Title: Casual Activity Leader

  • Grade/Salary: £15 524 – 24 331 (pro rata)

  • Location: City Wide

  • Hours: Casual including evenings, weekends and school holidays

Activity Sheffield is seeking to appoint a number of casual extended delivery team staff to deliver as and when required physical activity, play, cultural, environmental and sport sessions. This role includes the delivery and development of various activities including play, arts and crafts, holiday activity camps, multi-sport, sport, fitness (aerobics, chair aerobics), dance, boccia, multi sports, trampolining, cheerleading, street sports sessions etc. Delivery takes place predominantly at evenings / weekends / school holidays.

Sessions will take place across Sheffield at various venues including parks, schools, sports centres, community facilities, community centres and other local venues.

We are looking for pro-active individuals who hold an NGB level 2 or equivalent recognised qualifications from the play, sport, fitness, cultural and environmental industries.

The successful candidate will have the ability to ensure sessions, programmes and projects meet the needs and demands of our customers while building and maintaining successful relationships with customers and communities, business and voluntary organisations. The role of the extended delivery team is to deliver front line services and often being the ‘face’ of Activity Sheffield, whilst delivering a high quality of customer service at all time.
