Abbeyfield Festival to go ahead

Despite the rainy weather, Abbeyfield Park Multicultural Festival is set to go ahead on Sunday 8th July, 1-6pm.

Festival organisers have met with the Council and agreed a wet weather plan. Areas of the park which are too wet to use will be fenced off, but organisers said this would not affect the running of the festival.

Sharrow and the Cliffhanger festivals have been cancelled on Saturday 7th July, due to the weather. It is hoped that Abbeyfield Festival will dodge the rain and put on a great show for local residents.
