Wardens news

Sheffield Homes have announced that the Burngreave Wardens service will be cut from 8 to 5.

They will change the way they work, with no more weekend or evening shifts. Work will be focused on Council Tenants rather than the area as a whole, so some areas will no longer be patrolled.

However at the Area Panel on 18th March, Sheffield Homes made a commitment to continue its support for the Walking Bus for the foreseeable future.

Scott Road Walking Bus still needs volunteers. You don’t need to be a parent at the schools. Training is provided by SCC Walking Bus Coordinator and all volunteers will have to have a CRB check.

Please contact Gaby Spinks on 0787 627 1857 if you can help.
