Here are some of the roles that you could undertake as a volunteer:

  • Additional language support

  • Adult learners support

  • Assist with reading during SATs

  • Classroom support

  • Customer services

  • Developing school gardens

  • General administration

  • Help in developing the school library

  • Help in ICT classes

  • Help with supervision at lunchtimes

  • Help with supervision in the playgrounds

  • Listen to pupils whilst they read

  • Reception duties

  • Support after school clubs

  • Support art projects / crafts activities

  • Support individual pupils

  • Support staff on school trips
