Streetworx, Youth worker

Because of the disruption New Deal caused in terms of Streetworx future hanging in the balance – a lot of work was put on hold as a lot of meetings had to be attended for funding purposes. As a result there is a backlog of work and extra effort is being made to compensate for all the disruption.

Streetworx is one of the main resources for young people in Pitsmoor; it’s an investment for these young people’s future. Streetworx is not just a youth scheme, it’s a support system. Without Streetworx, there would be nowhere for them to turn. We’d be back where we were 10 years ago.
