A colourful fashion show with a variety of dance performances brought the Vestry Hall to life on the 30th of August. The clothes were all designed and made by girls who have attended the Burngreave After School Support Project (BASSP).
The event, a vibrant celebration of different cultures and diversity, was organised by Diane Haimeed, the coordinator of BASSP, who described it as, “A fun event celebrating the success of the young people.”
The young girls spent time during the summer designing and making their own outfits.
Emily Yafai , Buthina Al-Shaibi, Iyah Hameed and Natasha Al-Guilaidi were just a few of the girls who were a part; they all agreed that designing and making the clothes was “the best”.
