Saturday 23rd August was the annual Burngreave New Deal for Communities Seaside Trip to Cleethorpes. There were five coaches with 218 Burngreave residents (115 adults and 103 children) made up of grandparents, parents, children, aunties, uncles and cousins, together with all the kit and caboodle that goes with a day trip to the seaside – prams, bags, car seats and cooler bags.

The Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) (the government department who fund BNDfC) have made a £881,000 reduction to the programme’s budget for the remaining years of the programme.

- [•] Grant given to SVP Furniture Store Sheffield
The SVP (St Vincent de Paul Society) is an international charity with ‘conferences’ all over the world. Burngreave is lucky enough to have such a conference based at St Catherine’s Church, Melrose Road.

BNDfC recently commissioned ERS, an independent research and consultancy agency, to conduct an evaluation of the Physical Environment and Safety Priority Area.
