Public meeting on Academies

Sheffield North Anti-Academies Alliance are organising a public meeting at the Vestry Hall on Thursday 22nd May 2008, with Paul Holmes MP as the main speaker. Paul Holmes is the Liberal Democrat MP for Chesterfield and is a member of the Children, Schools and Families Committee in Parliament, which is responsible for the Academy programme.

Other speakers are Viv Lockwood and Paul Kelemen. Viv is an anti-Academy campaigner and Sheffield Labour party member. Paul is a local resident and former Governor of Fir Vale School.
