  • Hanging basket and container planting – bring back your basket or container from last year, fill it with fresh compost and choose new plants to grow this year to brighten up Burngreave from £4.00, or buy a new container, fill it just the same from £6.00.

  • Birds of prey exhibition and flying displays from the Ridgeside Falconry Group.

  • Come and meet the Green City Action Deliver It Green (DIG) Team and find out what's happening in to your local green spaces and how you can get involved.

  • Dry stone walling exhibition, with local professional Paul Winston.

  • Green City Action's Tool Bank will be on display and offering free memberships on the day.

  • FREE bicycle safety checks and simple maintenance and FREE cycling skills workshop from the Pedal Ready and Pedal Pushers teams.

  • Sports and Games for the kids, from the Activity Sheffield team, who will also bring a huge climbing wall for the more daring local residents.

  • Tree Trail – join Tim Shortland and our FREE tour with children's treasure hunt built in.

  • Travel planning – with the Wizco project. Learn all about walks and cycling in the area and the local car sharing scheme.

  • Energy efficiency, renewable resources, recycling and compost making information and displays.

  • Friends of Abbeyfield Park famous spring plant stall for all your veg and flower plant needs.

  • Betty's even more famous teas and a variety of foods stalls on offer.
