International Women's Day event

An event to mark International Women's Day will be held at the Vestry Hall on Friday 7th March 2008.

The event, which is being organised by the Vestry Hall itself, will include workshops on lantern-making and henna-painting, as well as free gifts for every woman who attends. A free lunch will also be provided.

There will be the opportunity to speak to women about employment and training opportunities, volunteering locally, starting up a new business, benefits and housing advice, women's health and a variety of other services available.

This event will be free of charge, and will run at the Vestry Hall from 10am to 4pm. A creche will also be provided.

For further information, please contact Amanda McConnell on 0114 213 3802.
