Open source computer training for women

The Women's Health Network has teamed up with Access Space to deliver a series of IT workshops at the Furnival in Burngreave, starting on 15th April.

The workshops will show you:

  • what goes on inside that magic box!

  • what you can do if it goes wrong

  • a range of general purpose programmes for word processing, using internet and email, working with pictures, and other office applications

  • how to save money by using free open source software

The sessions are free to attend, open to all women, and run 10am – 12.30pm on Tuesdays 15th April, 6th May and 13th May.

They take place in the Furnival cafe, 199 Verdon Street, Burngreave, S3 9QQ.

If you have any questions you can contact either Robin Vaughan-Williams (0114 272 7497) or Fatima Musa (0114 271 6971).
