NEW cafe in the Furnival

A new cafe is starting up at the Furnival, every Tuesday from 8 April.

In the mornings from 10am to 12.30pm, the Women's Health Network will be running coffee mornings (for women only) and, in the afternoons from 12.30 to 3pm, the cafe will be open to everyone. Food from around the world will be freshly made, healthy, and affordable.

The Women's Health Network coffee mornings (10am-12.30pm) are fun and friendly sessions for women where they can do things together like complementary therapies, and learn about health, cooking, and keeping fit.

Later in the month, we will be installing internet access and a couple of computers donated by Access Space, with volunteers on hand to help people use them.

We hope that the cafe will become a place that some local groups might like to use for running informal activities, like a conversation club or befriending scheme.

If you know anyone who might be interested in doing something like this (or helping with the cafe), please tell them to get in touch with us.

If you have any questions or would like to get involved, please contact either Fatima Musa on 0114 272 6971, or The Furnival on 0114 272 7497.

You can find us here: The Furnival, 199 Verdon Street, Burngreave, S3 9QQ.

The WHN Cafe is organised in partnership with Sheffield Primary Care Trust and Furnival Burngreave Community Projects, with support from Burngreave New Deal for Communities.
