Customer Service Assistant

  • £14,698 per annum Full Time Equivalent (£6,487 pro rata) + pension

ACS’ town centre ‘shop’ offers a comprehensive Information and Advice Service, used by over 4,000 older people each year, and also houses our trading arm arranging insurance and energy products tailored to the needs of the over 50’s.

We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting members of the public and takes pride in providing excellent customer service to meet their needs. Working flexibly across Information and Advice and the Insurance team you’ll need to have a flexible ‘can do’, problem solving approach, the ability to maintain accurate records and be committed to learning and sharing learning.

The role involves:

  • Providing high quality customer service to all customers and potential customers in the shop.

  • Working within the rules set down by the Financial Services Authority for Insurance sales (full training will be provided)

  • Providing information and signposting to older people on a wide range of issues.
