  - [•] Madge Saunders – A Remarkable Woman
- In November 1965 a woman called Madge Saunders arrived in Burngreave to begin working alongside the minister at St James Church in Burngreave.

- Burngreave has always provided a safe haven for people migrating or fleeing from other countries. One of Burngreave’s most recently arrived communities is the Slovaks from Eastern Europe, travelling here for work now that Slovakia is part of the European Union. As with other communities before, their story is one of hopes fulfilled and difficulties still to overcome.

- Clare Burnell, local resident and College Governor gives us an update on progress at Longley Park, our own £12 million, purpose-built Sixth Form College.

- With memories of Woodside’s demolition still lingering many minds, more Burngreave residents now face the same trauma. The Masterplan, agreed by Council Cabinet in May 2OO5, is now being implemented.

- On one beautiful Wednesday, I found myself in a magnificent and incredible hair dressing shop, packed with a multitude of customers from all ages, genders and races awaiting their hair cuts.
