Supporting Playcare Phase II project

  • What was discussed: To fund two local, voluntary sector out of school clubs (Burngreave and Ellesmere).

  • What we decided: To approve the Supporting Playcare project (in the sum of £19,959) until March 31st 2006.

Open Access Playcare Phase II

  • What was discussed: To fund a Play Development Worker, trainee play worker and associated costs in order to support open access play (where children can come and go as they please).

  • What we decided: Not to approve the Open Access Play Phase II project proposal.

Study Support

  • What was discussed: Bring together Somali Education Breakthrough, ITCSS, Burngreave After-School Study Support and Reach High 2 into one single consortium and also provide support to the SADACCA study group.

  • What we decided: To approve with a condition that funding beyond March 2006 is subject to a review of priorities by the Partnership Board and the outcome of an independent evaluation of the current Study Support proposal.
