BNDfC is pleased to welcome back Magda Boo, Health and Crime Theme Manager, who has just returned from six months maternity leave. We are also delighted to say hello to Magda’s new addition, baby Charlie.
Magda will be working three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) until April 2005.
Says Magda:
“I’ve been enjoying time off with my baby boy, Charlie, going to Aqua Baby, learning baby massage and making very good use of our Bookstart library card! Charlie is six months old now and has just begun experimenting with solid food which mostly ends up on his bib, in his hair, in my hair…
“While I have been away a lot has been going on and I am really excited about two new health projects which are up and running – ‘Community Advocacy’ and the ‘Green Gym’.
“The Crime Theme has also been focusing on getting the message into households through ‘SmartWater’ property marking and community safety roadshows with great giveaways like cycle/skate helmets and car disk locks.”
