Over the past week, two muggings have taken place in Burngreave Cemetery in broad daylight.
On both occasions, three teenagers carried out unprovoked attacks on men walking on their own through the cemetery and stole money, cards and phones.
CCTV footage of the three individuals has been seen by the police but as yet they have not been identified.
The South Yorkshire Police are carrying out extra patrols in the area. They said they
"were aware of the situation and would be patrolling, not necessarily in uniform.”
