Crabtree Ponds: our local nature reserve

Crabtree Ponds is our local nature reserve, managed by Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust. It is a pretty oasis in the corner between Barnsley Road, Crabtree Road and Crabtree Close; there are two ponds and a pretty woodland area. There is fascinating mix of plant and animal species living here.

On the first Monday of every month, at 09.30 -12.00local volunteers assist with general maintenance of the reserve. All volunteers are very welcome to come and join in.

The next maintenance day at Crabtree Ponds is 6th June 09.30- 12.00. All welcome.

The proposed date for the next Crabtree Ponds Reserve Advisory Group meeting is Thursday 7th July 2016, 6pm – 7.30pm meeting on site at Crabtree Ponds. All local residents are welcome to come along and discuss the future of the reserve.
