Job vacancy - Early Years Practitioner

There is currently a vacancy for an Early Years Practitioner on a temporary contract within Bright Stars Nursery.

They are looking for someone with good knowledge of child development and experience of applying this within the Revised Early Years Foundation stage. They want a practitioner with energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to providing a quality learning environment whilst safeguarding children. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the rest of the team.

Applicants must be

  • Level 3 qualified with preferably a minimum of 3 years experience working in an Early Years setting.

  • Current First Aid and Safeguarding training preferred.

  • Ability to speak a community language is an advantage, as the nursery has a high number of children who speak English as an additional language.

The post is term time only, 33 hours per week, £6.50 hour.
