LEARNING MENTOR commencing 1st September 2016. Full time permanent.
Salary: GRADE 5.
Hours: 37 Hours per week 52 weeks per year.

A highly motivated, committed and flexible Learning Mentor is required to work within the pastoral team to achieve consistent improvement and development, particularly within our new nurture setting where behaviour can be a challenge.*
The successful candidate must be:
• Willing and able to work as part of a team
• Understand the learning and wider social needs of children who have a diverse set of skills and abilities
• Be resilient and able to maintain a professional and positive approach at all times
• Be committed to the safeguarding of all children, in line with school expectations
• Provide support and guidance to children and those engaged with them
• Promote effective participation, enhance individual learning, raise aspiration and achieve full potential
• Manage your time effectively.
• Be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including MAST & Social Care • Plan and deliver holiday activities thoughout the year
• Attend and contribute to meetings such as CIN and TAF
• Build positive relationships with parents/carers.
