Multifaith Forest Gardening day will be at Parkwood Springs on Saturday 8th August, 11am – 2pm. All are welcome.
Parkwood Forest Garden is a beautiful calm space and a productive permaculture project. It is a young forest garden developed by Sheffield City Council in association with local volunteers.
This month the Parkwood Springs forest garden group will be continuing with summer weeding and with the usual maintenance tasks. There will also be a fair amount of harvesting to do! So bring your punnets!
There will be opportunity to continue discussing the future plan for the garden and also a chance for a guided walk for those who haven’t visited before.
The workday will be hosted by Angus Hunter who will be at the entrance of the car park from 10.45am. Please feel free to contact me for more information on 0785 522 5172 or at angus.hunter@sheffield.gov.uk
