Pitsmoor Adventure Playground on Melrose Road are having a family fun day on Wednesday 5th August.
The event is held on National Play Day, which is the first Wednesday in August, between 12 and 4pm.
The Lord Mayor will be in attendance and – if all goes according to plan – the Playground’s impressive new big slide will be officially opened.
The Adventure Playground is also holding a mini-Olympics on Saturday 8th August (12-3), again with the Lord Mayor attending.
