Putting the Sheaf back in to Sheffield

Sheffield City Council and the Environment Agency are working on an exciting project to de-culvert and restore the river Sheaf in central Sheffield between Exchange Street and Castlegate.

The existing culvert will be opened up, the river will be re naturalised and a new public green open space will be created alongside the river.

As part of the engagement work the project team want to understand how Sheffield’s rivers and the particularly the River Sheaf are perceived, used and valued.

If you could spare a few moments please complete a survey to capture your thoughts. https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/66RGPWN
