Bee keeping training course

The Friends of Burngreave Cemetery have received grant funding tp pay for membership of Sheffield Bee Keeping Association (SBKA) and basic bee keeping training for cemetery volunteers. (See details below)

SBKA Beginners' Course 2015

The Beginners' course is designed to give you all the knowledge and skills required to start keeping bees this year. It comprises 8 classroom sessions, seven theory and one practical, and two apiary sessions.

The following theory sessions all start at 7.45pm and continue until 9.30pm

The dates for the practicals are notional since we are dependent on the weather behaving itself.

All sessions will take place at the JG Graves Woodlands Discovery Centre in Ecclesall Woods off Abbey Lane.
