Dozens of fish were released in to the Porter Brook in Endcliffe Park by pupils from St Catherine’s Catholic primary school with help from the River Stewardship Company.
The brown trout were raised from eggs in a classroom aquarium.
Taking part in the project provided an opportunity for young people to learn about the life cycle of fish and history of Sheffield’s waterways.
