Firs Hill Community Primary School are seeking to recruit Teaching Assistants with Gypsy/Roma as their first language. The successful candidates will work closely in strong committed teams helping and support Gypsy/Roma pupils in the classrooms and extended school activities. Also, working with Gypsy/Roma families in the school community supporting and encouraging them into school life.

Candidates should state current professional practice and outline how they see their role in enhancing, supporting and developing this group of vulnerable pupils. Candidates should be able to demonstrate high standards of commitment to this role with examples of good, punctual attendance. The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Records Disclosure form in line with Section 113 of The Police Act 1997.
