Course: Domestic Abuse, Risk Assessment & MARAC

When: Wednesday 24th November 2014, 9.30am-4.30pm

Where: Sorby House, 42 Spital Hill, Sheffield, S4 7LG

Course Aims:

  • to raise awareness of the realities and effects of domestic abuse;

  • to help workers to develop their skills and confidence in developing early and effective responses to domestic abuse;

  • to promote the importance of continuous risk assessment and safety planning, and working together with other agencies;

  • To introduce learners to the DASH risk model and the MARAC process for High Risk cases

  • to identify resources available in the city to support their work
