Pain Support Group

  • Tuesdays 12.30 – 2.30pm

  • 30th September, 14th and 28th October

  • At Sorby House, Spital Hill

Socialise with like-minded people and gain new skills to self-manage pain. Includes workshops around pain management, relaxation, massage and meditation.

Translators are available.

This is a fortnightly service, everyone is welcome. The sessions are delivered by Somshun Nessa and supported by Page Hall Practice Champions.

We welcome you to join our safe, confidential and friendly environment.

This group we will be looking at practical ways to cope with stress and anger, and may include a safe and effective practical exercise. It will provide practical and emotional support for women going through any kind of abuse

This group is supported by Somshun Nessa and Page Hall Practice Champions Almas and Shafaz.

FREE refreshments available.

‘What is Health?’ course

  • 8 week course, with creche

  • Starts Tuesday 14th October

  • 9.30am – 12:30pm

  • St Cuthbert's Church, Fir Vale

By the end of the 8 weeks programme participants will be able to:

  • Express their own view of health and wellbeing

  • Relate how their moods, friends, family and finances can affect their health and wellbeing

  • Relate how social contact, network and money affect communities

  • Recognise their own skills and how they can set achievable goals

  • Share experience, make friends and join in local activities

Domestic Abuse Awareness training

  • Monday 24th November

  • 9.30am – 4.30pm

  • Sorby House, 42 Spital Hill
